“We considered three firms s in the White Mountains to build our mountain retreat in Eagar in 2014. We chose Letner Design & Build based on past work and testimonials, price, and Jacob Letner’s professional and friendly demeanor.

Jacob came up with great solutions to some siting and floor plan issues during the design phase, kept us up to date and provided us with options on many items during construction, and gave sound advice based on his years of hands on experience. He also got the job done 4-5 weeks earlier than we expected.

As happens with many people, our place in Eagar was being built while we were hours away in Phoenix. However, Jacob kept us up to date with emails, phone calls, and texts on a nearly daily basis.  During each phase of construction, we had choices to make, which Jacob helped us with by giving the pros and cons of each option. The result was that we felt intimately involved in the building process even though we were able to visit the site only three times during construction.

During construction, the realtor who sold us the lot stopped by to take a look and asked about our builder because she was impressed by what she saw. Also, soon after our home was finished, an acquaintance with several years of experience in various aspects of commercial construction saw it and commented that it appeared to be very well built and solid. So, we now have what others and we consider to be a very well built and beautiful mountain home.

It has been nearly six months since construction was completed and Jacob remains very easy to contact regarding questions, and he has quickly corrected a few minor issues that you expect with such a project. In the end, we are very satisfied and we would definitely use LD&B again if the need or opportunity arises.”
